GUNS N' ROSES Guitarist BUMBLEFOOT Interviewed On 'Maximum Threshold' (Audio)

GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal was interviewed on the February 5, 2011 edition of the "Maximum Threshold" show. The program is now available for streaming using the audio player below.

When asked about the previously rumored GUNS N' ROSES U.S. tour which was slated to begin in February, Thal said in a recent interview, "We're supposed to be and suddenly there's silence. I don't think it's gonna happen. Figuring February is weeks away and I've yet to see a single confirmed date . . . With everything, all it takes is just one link in the chain to get weak and everything unravels. So, I don't know what the status is of this U.S. tour that I've been impatiently waiting for." Thal added that he often gets just a week's notice before GUNS N' ROSES does anything. "What'll happen is I'll get a week's notice," he said. "They'll say, 'All right. It's happening. We're FedExing your tickets' . . . for the rest of the world, if you want to plan something, it's months in advance."

Thal last month released the first of a series of singles, a punky guitar-virtuosic cover of THE FOUR TOPS' 1967 Motown hit "Bernadette" The song was recorded in the weeks surrounding Ron's first tour with GN'R as their new guitarist in 2006.

The song is available in MP3 (320kps),AAC, and higher-quality formats FLAC, MP3 HD, Apple Lossless and WAV. An instrumental version is also available in these formats.
